The Difference

The difference is beneath the surface.

The line is architectural, drawn by design and never by attack.

Keep the boundary clear. The cloud stays valuable for non-regulated work. Mickai is the sovereign answer for the regulated-data boundary. The difference is architectural, not rhetorical.

The data never leaves

Your own data never leaves your building, on hardware you own. No third-party cloud ever holds it, and no vendor insider can reach it.

Every cloud service, in-house

Marketing, leads, conversation, documents, media, engineering, governance, security and a managed agent team, delivered sovereign. One platform, with the studios included, in place of a stack of separate third-party subscriptions.

Your business, as a brain

We build your organisation its own private brain from its own records: a digital twin of the business that keeps working around the clock, even after the staff go home.

Provable, not promised

Every action is sealed to the Open Audit Record with ML-DSA-65, and is independently verifiable by tools that are not ours.

You own it

No per-query or per-credit metering by a third party. The keys, the system, and the data are yours.

The cloud and hyperscaler model vs the Mickai sovereign model
Where the data lives
The cloudShared multi-tenant infrastructure, predominantly United States region cloud; an EU region is at best a paid toggle.
MickaiOn hardware the customer owns, inside the customer's own building. The regulated data never leaves.
Who holds the keys
The cloudThe vendor and its cloud provider administer the platform; the customer holds a contract, not the keys.
MickaiThe operator holds the keys. There is no third-party administrator with standing access to the data.
How it is metered
The cloudMetered per query or per credit, billed by a third party that sees the shape of your usage.
MickaiOwned deployment. The customer owns the system the brains run on. No third-party meter.
Drift and memory
The cloudShared storage forces aggressive context compression and lossy recall, which drives drift.
MickaiThe operator owns the memory and expands it on their own hardware. The model keeps the working set you gave it.

This is not an attack on the cloud. The cloud and the hyperscalers stay genuinely valuable for consumer work, research, and most enterprise workloads that sit outside the regulated-data boundary.

If you are a multibillion-dollar company running on Anthropic or OpenAI, and your direct competitor of comparable scale sits on the same vendor stack, what stops them paying a vendor insider to leak your data, your tactics, your leads, your sales strategy? Inside a third-party cloud, there is no safeguard you can verify from the outside. The only answer is a sovereign system where you hold the keys, with no third-party cloud data path.
Micky Irons, founder and CEO, Mickai LTD.
The Position

Private and on-premise is the baseline. Everything beyond it is ours.

Cohere, Mistral, IBM Granite and Microsoft's on-premise stack all offer private deployment where the vendor cannot see your data. We built with that in full view. Private and on-premise is where Mickai starts, not where it stops. Four things follow, and every one of them is deliberate.

01

Cryptographic action-level audit

Securing the data and the infrastructure is the baseline. Mickai seals every action the system takes to an Open Audit Record: a tamper-evident log under a post-quantum signature, verifiable offline against your issuer key, with no callback to us. It is what the EU AI Act's logging and record-keeping obligations for high-risk systems ask for, and it is the ground our 104 filed UK patent applications and 2,340 claims are staked on.

02

Air-gapped by default

A private option inside a connected estate still runs on someone's cloud. Mickai runs with the network cable out: zero egress, genuinely disconnected, and built to stay that way indefinitely. For classified, ITAR and isolated operational-technology work, “runs in your private cloud” does not qualify and “runs air-gapped” does. We built for the hard bar.

03

The software you run on, not a model to integrate

Others hand you a model and a platform to build on. Mickai gives an organisation its own email server, its own meeting infrastructure, its own note-taking and team collaboration, and an assistant across all of it, alongside 63 ready-made studios for finance, legal, engineering and the rest. The everyday tools that today mean a Microsoft or Google subscription, running on hardware you own. Working software from day one.

04

Built for the market others leave behind

The six and seven figure incumbents own the top of the regulated market and are too heavyweight for everyone beneath it. The regulated small and mid-sized business, underserved and over-charged, is the market Mickai is built for: the same sovereign guarantees, delivered as working software, at a price it can carry.

Sovereign AI with cryptographic, offline-verifiable action-level audit, delivered as the software a company actually runs on. That is the position, and it is ours.

The Guarantees
The Architecture

Sovereign by architecture, not by policy.

Policy can be broken. Architecture cannot. Mickai is built so that sovereignty is a property of the substrate, not a promise on a website.

01

Offline by architecture

Mickai never requires a network to function. No silent call-home, no telemetry, no cloud sync.

02

On-device inference

Every brain runs on the user's machine. CPU, GPU, NPU, and custom accelerators supported.

03

No cloud, no telemetry

The only packets Mickai sends are those you explicitly commission and sign.

04

Hardware-bound identity

The user's sovereignty is cryptographically tied to their machine. Cloning is mathematically refused.

The Sandbox

The sandbox, in one page.

A sealed network jail. The fetch reaches out; the vault stays in.

For the compliance officer who has to sign it off: this is the whole boundary, on one page.

Allowlist-only egress

Nothing reaches the network unless the operator has named the destination. The default is closed, not open.

The regulated data never crosses

The sandbox fetches what you allow and brings it in. Your vault, your prompts, your context never leave the boundary.

Every fetch is sealed

Each crossing is written to the Open Audit Record, so a compliance officer can read exactly what entered and when.

The operator owns the gate

No third-party administrator can open it from the outside. The keys, and the boundary, are yours.

When companies use the Mickai Sovereign Intelligence Operating System, the context-compression problem that plagues cloud LLMs is removed at the architectural level. Cloud systems hallucinate and drift off topic because shared multi-tenant storage forces aggressive context compression, summary-pass swaps, and lossy recall. Inside Mickai, the operator owns the memory. They expand it inside their own data centre or workstation, scale it on Poseidon rack-scale or local NVMe, and never compete with another tenant for context budget. The result is a measurable reduction in drift and hallucination. The model keeps the working set the customer gave it.
Micky Irons, founder and CEO, Mickai LTD.
The Governance

Governed by the user. Verified by mathematics.

Cryptographic audit ledger

Cryptographic Audit Ledger

Every prompt, every tool call, every model dispatch is signed and chained. The ledger is yours, forever, and verifiable without the vendor.

Permission model

Permission Model

Scope, quota, and boundary rules defined as policy code. Actions outside policy are mathematically impossible, not just flagged.

Post-quantum signatures

Post-Quantum Signatures

ML-DSA-65 and ML-KEM-768 primitives underpin the sovereign identity. Your keys will outlast your GPU.

Dead-man's switch

Dead-Man's Switch

If the user's signature stops for a declared interval, the vault rotates, revokes, and shards on its own. No one inherits your AI.

The Market

Some work cannot leave the building.

For most enterprise work, public cloud AI is lawful, capable and the right answer, and the controls to use it well already exist. Specific workloads sit outside that line: material classified above a threshold, export-controlled and ITAR-bound engineering, isolated operational technology, privileged client files, and cases where a data protection impact assessment lands negative. There the constraint is not preference or procurement. The data cannot leave the estate, so the intelligence has to arrive instead. That is the gap Mickai was built for.

29
Regulated markets mapped, each with the statutes that bar the cloud and the in-house answer.
0%
Data egress. Every byte is processed on hardware the customer owns; nothing leaves the building.
CapEx
A capital asset you own and depreciate predictably, not a volatile per-token bill that only ever climbs. The hardware depreciates on schedule; the sovereign capability compounds. Unlimited local queries at the cost of electricity.
Appreciates
Rented cloud AI leaves you owning nothing. A sovereign deployment becomes a digital twin of the institution: as it learns your data and seals every decision, that intelligence compounds into an owned asset that grows in value.

Cloud AI is genuinely valuable for the work that sits outside this boundary. Inside it, there is no contract a regulator accepts in place of the data never leaving. That is not a gap a better cloud closes; it is a different architecture.

The System

A complete operating system. Owned outright. Governed by you.

Beneath the fifty brains runs the operating system itself: orchestration, agent tooling, knowledge and memory, artifacts, the Vinis voice, and a governance layer they all answer to. Every capability runs on-device, subordinate to a cryptographic contract authored by you, the user.

DRIFT AND HALLUCINATION, CUT AT THE SOURCE

Cloud models drift because shared, multi-tenant storage forces them to compress your context to fit a budget they share with every other customer. Mickai owns the memory outright and expands it on Poseidon rack-scale or local NVMe, so your working set is never compressed to make room for another tenant. The result is a measurable reduction in drift and hallucination, on hardware you own, under your key. The capability that used to be gated by storage now runs on yours.

00

Multi-Brain Orchestration

01

Agent Tooling

Sovereign agents act only within permissioned scopes. Every tool call is cryptographically attested.

02

Knowledge & Memory

Your corpus, embedded and indexed locally. No sharding to third parties. Forgettable on command.

03

04

Vinis Voice

Speech recognition and synthesis that never leave your machine. Air-gapped voice modality.

05

Governance Layer

Policy as cryptographic truth. Permissions, quotas, and dead-man's switches are executable, not aspirational.

Proof and assurance

Provable, not promised.

Sovereignty you can check, not a claim on a website. Below, the fifty brains and the full patent portfolio show the substrate in the open. The status word is filed, never granted.

Sealed, not asserted

Every action is sealed to the Open Audit Record with ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204) and vaulted with ML-KEM-768 (FIPS 203). The seal is written before execution.

Independently verifiable

The audit chain is checkable by tools that are not ours. You do not take our word for it; you verify it.

Validated, on the bench

The system carries its own validation evidence, an exhaustive self-check the operator can run and read for themselves.

FOR THE REGULATOR WHO CAN WALK IN TOMORROW

One button produces the report. The data never left the building.

When a regulator, an auditor, or a finance authority asks an organisation to produce a report, Mickai produces it on demand. Every model decision, every access, and every change is sealed to the Open Audit Record before it happens, so the full evidence trail exports or prints in a single action, including the filings finance teams have to submit. Because the data and the model both stay inside your perimeter, there is nothing to retrieve from a third party and nothing to explain about where it went.

The Moat

The moat is filed, not marketed.

A competitor cannot patch past this over a weekend. To cross it they must rebuild the operating system itself. Behind that sit 104 applications carrying 2,340 claims, filed and date-stamped at the UK Intellectual Property Office. They are pending, not granted: the priority dates are secured, the monopoly is not yet.

The defensibility is structural, and it compounds. Every deployment seals its work to the Open Audit Record, so the further the system runs the harder the position is to take.
