Sovereign Music Provenance via Triple Watermark across Waveform, Metadata, and Symbolic Sheet Music.
Three independent watermarks across three orthogonal representations of the same musical work.
A method and system for embedding and verifying music provenance using three independent watermarks anchored in three orthogonal representations of the same musical work: a psychoacoustically shaped spread-spectrum watermark in the audio waveform, a digitally signed metadata watermark in the ID3v2 frame or BWF iXML chunk, and a per-note steganographic watermark in the symbolic representation (MusicXML or MIDI). A consistency oracle binds the three watermarks under a single signing operation; a verifier accepts the work as provenanced under three-of-three quorum or, in degraded mode, under two-of-three, surviving re-recording, transcoding, and re-performance from sheet music. Integrates with PRS, ASCAP, and SACEM rights databases and carries an AI-training opt-out flag enforceable at dataset ingestion. Filed 21 May 2026 as GB2611890.1.
