Cryptographic Mode-Attestation of Robot Autonomy State.
10 Hz signed attestation across a 7-state autonomy taxonomy for liability and insurance. 27 claims.
An embodied AI robot emits, at a configured tick rate (default 10 Hz), a typed mode-attestation record asserting its current autonomy mode drawn from an enumerated taxonomy spanning FULLY-AUTONOMOUS, SUPERVISED-AUTONOMOUS, TELEOPERATED, HUMAN-CONTROLLED, SHARED-CONTROL, SAFE-STOP, and KILL-SWITCH-ENGAGED. Each record carries the controlling principal at the present tick, a reason code, the time-since-last-mode-change, the active autonomous-policy-bundle content hash, the robot's hardware identity, and a previous-tick hash pointer. Signed under an operator-controlled hardware key (not a vendor key), so an insurer or regulator can construct, given any wall-clock instant, a verifiable timeline of who was in control.
