About Mickai:
MICKAI® is a Sovereign Intelligence Operating System (SIOS): AI that defence, financial services and government own and run inside their own walls, offline, on hardware they control. This is not a slide or a prototype. It is built and live, a working operational product. Fifty specialised brains, 25 domain and 25 operational, sit under more than 60 studios that replace the enterprise cloud stack customers already pay for. Every consequential action is sealed into the Open Audit Record, a post-quantum signed ledger verifiable offline for years. A self-validating harness passes over a thousand checks on the operator's own machine. The IP estate runs to 104 filed UK patent applications and 2,340 claims. Three live commercial surfaces, Mickai Studio, Mickai Bot and Mickai Audit, already sit around the SIOS, with early clients lined up. This is not an average pre-seed company.
The role:
You own the product across MICKAI, the Sovereign Intelligence Operating System that defence, financial services and government run inside their own walls. You set the roadmap across the studios, decide what gets built next for regulated buyers, and turn hard technology and a filed patent estate into product those buyers actually understand and want.
What you will own:
- The product roadmap across the studios, from discovery to sequenced release.
- Feature prioritisation for defence, financial services and government buyers.
- Enterprise feedback, gathered and synthesised from pilots and briefings.
- A clear product narrative that translates the filed patent estate and hard technology into plain value.
- The specs and acceptance criteria engineering builds against.
- Release sequencing, so each one is demonstrable and sellable.
- Positioning, packaging and pricing structure, worked directly with the founder.
- A roadmap that stays honest about what is built and live versus still in build.
What you bring:
- Several years shipping B2B or enterprise software as a product manager.
- Experience in a regulated or security-heavy domain such as defence, finance, government or critical infrastructure.
- A track record of turning complex technology into product that buyers understand.
- Fluency running discovery with enterprise stakeholders and procurement functions.
- Sharp prioritisation and the judgement to say no to most things.
- Clear written specs and the discipline to keep a roadmap current and trusted.
Nice to have:
- Background building into compliance, audit or governance functions.
- Familiarity with on-premise, air-gapped or sovereign deployment models.
- Exposure to AI, data platform or developer-facing products.
- Experience taking a category-defining product from pre-seed to first customers.
The deal (please read):
This is a founding, part-time role with meaningful sweat equity now, converting to a competitive salary once we close our seed round. It is remote only. We are open only to applicants based in the United Kingdom or the United Arab Emirates, for legal and compliance reasons, and we appreciate some overlap with UK hours.
Why join now:
The product is built and live, the patent estate is filed, and the category is still being defined. You own the product itself, not a seat on someone else's roadmap, and you help decide what regulated AI looks like before anyone else sets the terms.
