Open the doors that let sovereign AI reach the regulated organisations that need to own it.

About Mickai:

Mickai is not an average pre-seed company. MICKAI® is a Sovereign Intelligence Operating System (SIOS), an operational product that is built and live today, not a slide or a prototype. Regulated organisations own and run it inside their own walls, offline, on hardware they control. It runs 50 specialised brains and more than 60 studios that replace the enterprise cloud stack, from SAP and Salesforce to Splunk and ServiceNow, all offline. Every consequential action is sealed into a post-quantum signed Open Audit Record, and a self-validating harness passes over a thousand checks on the operator's own machine. The IP estate stands at 104 filed UK patent applications and 2,340 claims. Three live commercial surfaces already sit around the SIOS, with early clients lined up. The product works, the patents are filed, and the market is already responding.

The role:

You own the top of Mickai's commercial funnel. You find the defence primes, banks, government bodies and regulated operators who cannot put their most sensitive data in the public cloud, you get MICKAI in front of the people who decide, and you turn interest into pilots and licensing conversations. The product is built and live and the patent estate is filed, so the constraint is reach, not readiness.

What you will own:

  • Source and qualify pilot opportunities across defence, financial services and government
  • Build and own the top of the funnel, from first contact to qualified conversation
  • Run outbound licensing outreach against the patent estate and the brains catalogue
  • Book and lead discovery calls, then hand warm, well briefed deals to the commercial lead
  • Map buying committees inside regulated organisations and find the real decision makers
  • Support partnership conversations with primes, integrators and channel partners
  • Keep the pipeline honest and current so forecasting reflects reality
  • Feed market signal and objection patterns back into positioning and the roadmap

What you bring:

  • Business development or sales experience selling into regulated sectors or enterprise
  • A track record of opening cold doors and building pipeline from nothing
  • The credibility to hold a room with procurement, security and technical buyers
  • Comfort explaining a technical product in plain terms without hype
  • Discipline to run a clean, well documented funnel and report it straight
  • Self direction to operate part time and set your own cadence against clear targets
  • British English written and spoken, confident and concrete

Nice to have:

  • An existing network in defence, financial services or government procurement
  • Exposure to patent licensing, IP led sales or deep tech commercialisation
  • Understanding of sovereign, on premise or air gapped deployment and why it matters
  • Experience selling into long regulated procurement cycles

The deal (please read):

This is a founding, part-time seat. You come in now for meaningful sweat equity, which converts to a competitive salary once we close our seed round. The role is remote only and open only to applicants based in the United Kingdom or the United Arab Emirates, for legal and compliance reasons. Some overlap with UK hours is appreciated but not required.

Why join now:

The product is built and live, the patent estate is filed, and the category is still being defined. You will not be selling vapour, you will be opening the first doors for a product that already works, and you will help shape how a new category reaches the market.
