About Mickai:

Mickai LTD is a UK deep-tech company, and MICKAI® is a Sovereign Intelligence Operating System (SIOS): AI that regulated organisations own and run inside their own walls, offline, on hardware they control. This is not a slide or a prototype. The product is built and live, an operational MVP running 50 specialised brains and more than 60 studios that replace the enterprise cloud stack. Every consequential action is sealed into a post-quantum Open Audit Record, and a self-validating harness passes over a thousand checks on the operator's own machine. We hold 104 filed UK patent applications and 2,340 claims. Three live commercial surfaces already sit in market, with early clients lined up. This is not an average pre-seed company.

The role:

You own how Mickai is understood. The product is built and live, the patent estate is filed, and the category of sovereign, owned, on-premises AI is still being named. Your job is to name it and win it. You turn a technical proposition into positioning that defence, financial services and government buyers act on, thought leadership that earns authority, and a demand engine that puts qualified enterprise conversations before the founder.

What you will own:

  • Positioning and messaging for MICKAI and the sovereign AI category, from the core narrative to the page.
  • Building Mickai into the reference name for AI that regulated organisations own and run themselves.
  • Technical thought leadership, from long form articles to briefings, that earns trust with engineering and compliance led buyers.
  • Demand generation end to end, delivering a steady flow of qualified enterprise and defence leads to the founder.
  • SEO and answer engine optimisation, so Mickai surfaces first when buyers and AI tools are asked about sovereign AI.
  • The website, content estate and outbound, keeping message and proof consistent across every surface.
  • The marketing metrics and channel mix across search, content, social and outreach, evidence over vanity numbers.

What you bring:

  • A track record marketing B2B or deep tech to regulated buyers, not consumer or generalist SaaS.
  • Genuine positioning skill, making a complex, category defining product simple without dumbing it down.
  • Hands on command of modern search visibility, classic SEO and answer engine optimisation for AI search.
  • The ability to write and direct technical content that engineers and compliance leads respect.
  • Demand generation experience you can point to, with real pipeline and qualified leads as the outcome.
  • Comfort operating with little support, setting strategy and building the function from the ground up.
  • British English fluency and a bias for concrete, specific, hype free communication.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to defence, financial services or government buying cycles.
  • Familiarity with AI, security or governance topics, deep enough for a credible technical conversation.
  • Experience building a brand and category from an early stage.
  • A working knowledge of privacy, sovereignty and compliance framing.

The deal (please read):

This is a founding, part-time role. You take meaningful sweat equity now, which converts to a competitive salary once we close our seed round. It is remote only, open only to applicants based in the United Kingdom or the United Arab Emirates, for legal and compliance reasons, with some UK-friendly overlap appreciated.
