Why fourteen, and why these fourteen

The launch fourteen were not chosen at random. They are the functions where regulated organisations already feel the cost of the cloud most sharply: the everyday corporate surface where sensitive correspondence, documents, meetings and records live, and where sending that material to someone else's infrastructure is exactly the problem. We ship first where the demand is proven and the pain is concrete.

Fourteen studios that are finished beats sixty-three that are half-built, every time, for the buyer we are built for. A bank, a hospital, a law firm or a public body cannot run its real work on a preview. It needs the surface it adopts to be complete, supported and provable on day one. • Customer relationships: managing clients and pipeline without shipping that book of business to a vendor's cloud.

Each of these is a studio a company already pays a separate subscription for today. In the Mickai SIOS they are one system, one licence, on hardware the customer owns, and the data never leaves the building to do the work.

The other forty-nine, and why they wait

The remaining forty-nine studios are in development and released in sequence rather than in a single wide launch. That is a discipline, not a delay. Releasing in order means support, hardening and certification follow contracted revenue rather than outrunning it, and each new studio lands on a foundation that already stands and is already proven in the field.

It is the opposite of the usual pattern, where everything is announced and little is finished. We would rather under-claim and over-deliver, because the organisations we serve remember which way round a vendor got that.

One engine, one audit record, across all of them

The reason the whole system holds together is that every studio, shipped or still in development, runs on the same sovereign inference engine, Poros, and seals its work to the same audit record, the OAR. So the guarantees are uniform across the system rather than reimplemented per feature: the model runs offline on owned hardware, nothing leaves the building, and every privileged action is sealed under post-quantum cryptography to a record that is tamper-evident and verifiable offline. We are careful with that word: tamper-evident means silent alteration is detectable, not that the record is unbreakable.

The way that enforcement is done, how sovereignty, auditability, licensing and orchestration are held in place, is the subject of 104 filed UK patent applications carrying 2,340 claims, patent-pending at the UK Intellectual Property Office under named inventor Micky Irons. We patent the mechanism, not the model. The moat is the enforcement architecture, and it is the same underneath all sixty-three studios.
