A method of operating a removable sovereign AI accelerator such that an operator's complete operating-system state is preserved across moves between physical hosts, and the operator's signed decision history accumulates continuously on the unit's silicon. The unit maintains a SIOS state bundle on tamper-resistant on-unit storage comprising the operator-owned hash-linked audit chain head pointer (MWI-PA-2026-022 format), the operator-signed policy bundle, model selection preferences, and agent personality identifiers. On insertion into an accepted host the unit unseals the bundle into host memory under session-encrypted transport. Every decision appends a typed event to the audit chain on the unit. On removal the host-side bundle is cryptographically zeroised. The bundle is preserved across an arbitrary number of host insertion-and-removal cycles. Portable sovereign identity.
