Forecast-Driven Adaptive Gating Thresholds.
On-device time-series forecasting tightens or relaxes gates based on predicted owner behaviour. 25 claims.
An on-device time-series forecasting model consumes a window of prior typed-action invocations and emits per-action-type predictions of expected invocation rate, blast-radius, and actor identity. A threshold-adaptation engine tightens gates above the envelope (compromise hint, mass-exfiltration pattern, anomalous owner behaviour — fresh biometric, multi-party approval, or dry-run simulation required) and relaxes gates below the envelope (owner inactivity, low-blast-radius operations) to reduce friction. Each forecast is signed under the operator-held hardware key and recorded as a forecast-as-causal-parent edge in the decision-lineage ledger. Filed 4 May 2026 as GB2610419.0.
